Private Home Based EV Charger
We offer a range of private EV charging stations. The power range is AC chargers is -
- 7KW - For mid size car with 60kw to 75 kwh battery average time to charge is 9 to 10 hrs.
- 11KW - For mid size car with 60kw to 75 kwh battery average time to charge is 6 hrs
Public Home Based EV Charger
We offer a range of Public EV charging stations. The power range is AC chargers is -
- 22KW - For mid size car with 60kw to 75 kwh battery average time to charge is 3 hrs.
- 44KW (DC Rapid Charge)- For mid size car with 60kw to 75 kwh battery average time to charge is 1.2 to 1.5 hrs.
EV charging in Action
Please note the actual charging times my differ with suggested times shared due to real world factors like charging efficiency losses (usually around 10%) and the car slowing down its intake as the battery gets full meaning it may take slightly longer to fully charge towards the end.
When using AC chargers (7kw, 11kw and 22kw) the charger on the wall doesn't actually push power directly into the battery. It suppliers AC power to the car internal onboard charger, which converts it to DC.
Your charging speed will always be limited by whichever link in the chain is slower.
1. For 7kw: Almost all modern EVs can accept 7kw on a single-phase supply.
2. For 11kw & 22kw: Many EVs cars are hardware-limited to a maximum AC intake of 11kw (and some older or smaller models are capped at 7.4kw). If you plug a car capped at 11kw into 22kw AC charger, the car will still only pull 11kw and take around 7 hours to charge. Ensure the EV car you buy can pull the full 22kw AC,
3 For 44kw: This is a typically a DC fast charger ( or dual 22kw AC setups). Because DC charging bypasses the car's internal converter and pushes power straight to the battery, it can hit these fast speeds without being restricted by AC limits.
